How to remove your data and disconnect Facebook accounts from Submitly

Important Notice

Deleting your data will permanently remove all campaigns, analytics data, and account information. This action cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before proceeding.

Step 1: Disconnect Facebook Accounts

To revoke Submitly's access to your Facebook accounts, you need to remove the app permissions from each connected Facebook account.

For each connected Facebook account:

  1. Log into your Facebook account at facebook.com
  2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings
  3. Click on "Apps and Websites" in the left sidebar
  4. Find "Submitly" in your active apps list
  5. Click "Remove" next to the Submitly app
  6. Confirm the removal when prompted

Step 2: Request Account Deletion from Submitly

After disconnecting your Facebook accounts, you can request deletion of your Submitly account and all associated data.

Choose one of these methods:

Email Request

Send an email to our support team with your deletion request:

To: [email protected]

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Include:

  • Your registered email address
  • Confirmation that you've disconnected Facebook accounts
  • Request for complete data deletion
Account Settings (If logged in)

If you're still logged into your Submitly account:

  1. Go to Settings → Profile Settings
  2. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Follow the confirmation prompts
Step 3: What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon processing your deletion request, we will permanently remove:

Account Data

  • • Account credentials and profile information
  • • Campaign configurations and templates
  • • Asset library files and folders
  • • Integration settings and API tokens

Analytics & History

  • • Campaign performance data
  • • Revenue attribution records
  • • Automation rule history
  • • Activity logs and diagnostics

Timeline: Data deletion will be completed within 30 days of your request. Some backup data may be retained for up to 90 days for technical recovery purposes, after which it will be permanently purged.

Step 4: Deletion Confirmation

Once we process your deletion request, you will receive:

  • Email confirmation that your request was received
  • Follow-up email when deletion is completed
  • Confirmation that all data has been permanently removed
